I finished "I Am Not a Serial Killer" by Dan Wells last night. Not a bad book. I'm not sure what I expected from this, but it wasn't what I had hoped. I believe this was Mr. Wells 1st novel and as such I would say that it was a good start. He definitely was going for the Stephen King feeling, but wasn't quite there. It had an interesting story and his main characters were well built. However it was just a little far fetched for my taste. I started out really feeling the teenage boy's character, but was a little sad with where the story led. Overall, I thought his main character was very good. If you're looking for something that's a mix of science fiction and murder mystery, it's an easy read and will hold your attention. If you're looking for something completely believable, I think this would leave you a little disappointed.
A moderate book, I'd give it about a 6 on a scale of 1-10.

The Girl with The Dragon Tatoo
I recently read "The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo" by Steig Larsson. I have to say, I was a little hesitant to read this book because of all the hype around it. I like a good story as much as the next but was afraid that it wasn't going to live up to it. Boy was I wrong. The book started out very slow with lots of foundation information and background. However it picked up suddenly about 1/4 of the way in. This book kept me up nights reading and on the edge of my seat. It had lots of really good twists and a few times left me scratching my head with what could possibly happen next. I was very impressed by Mr. Larsson's writing and am looking forward to reading more of his work.
I definately recommend this book!
