Broken

"Broken" by Megan Hart. This is the first time I've read anything by Megan Hart but the book had high reviews so I tried it. I only got about 1/2 way through the book before I had to stop. I just had a lot of trouble getting into it. It felt far too much like a "B" movie. It was predictable and I got bored with it quickly. On a positive note, in the erotic stories of the book, the detail was very good and drew you in. But the story was still lacking.

The Anastasia Syndrome

I finished "The Anastasia Syndrome, and Other Stories" by Mary Higgins Clark recently. I have to say that I was a little prejudice about this book because Mary Higgins Clark is by far one of my favorite authors. The stories were all entertaining and pulled you in. Some of them were a little far from reality but still pulled me in. I very much enjoyed the last story, "The Lost Angel". I was pretty sure of the ending, but still as a Mother I felt a strong connection to the characters.
Good light read.
